The Magnificent 7- Childhood Cartoons

Hi! Today I was all ill and stuff so I don't have anything to blog about in terms of what I did. Unless I try to explain in great detail the fact that I slept pretty much the entire time. Therefore I am left with a dilemma of what to blog about. Hmmm... Well today I was watching a show that I have not seen since I was a kid, so I guess I could bring back the magnificent 7. (If you were smart enough to read the title this is slightly irrelevant). To make it slightly easier I am just going to do animated shows I watched, cause if not I have to chose between so many.

7. At number 7 we have Fairly Odd Parents, which to my surprise is still making new episodes! This show was about a kid called Timmy who had fairy god parents who got him into shenanigans. It was a pretty good show that I watched often but I lost interest after the baby fairy was born, no idea why though.

6. SpongeBob Squarepants, this one is obvious. Pretty much everyone watched SpongeBob at least once as a child, and if you did not, what the fuck were you doing!? If you are an alien and have no idea what I am talking about, SpongeBob was a show about a sponge who lived in a pineapple under the sea. When you are a child you think nothing of it, but now the concept is just weird. Like how he has a pet snail that can meow. To be fair though Gary was my favourite. 

5. This was actually the show I was watching today. Totally Spies is a show about 3 teenagers who are secret spies. I used to watch this with my sister a lot, and we would bond over our hatred of Clover, she was such a bitch! She was extremely annoying. Watching the show after so many years made me kind of sad, cause I don't find it as good as I used to. :( 

4. Next we have Mona The Vampire. I loved this show for the simple fact it was about a girl who believed she was a vampire so much she used the power to fight imaginary crimes. Her friends also believed they were her crime fighting companions which just made it better. It made me feel comfortable being weird as long as I had weird friends.


3. The PowerPuff Girls. Who's shocked this is third? I speak about it so much, should prove how much I love the other two. So the powerpuff girls is about these three girls who are created in a lab and given fun powers by their father. This show produced one of the best villains in history, like Him, as well as Mojo Jojo, those two together are just hilarious. All of the characters are pretty amazing, apart from Blossom, she can die in a hole, she thought it was all about her ugh.

2. Missing out on first place is...As Told By Ginger. This was a show about a girl called Ginger and her general life, the most normal of all of the shows in this. I loved it cause it addressed things that are more realistic like girls being bitches and liking guys and stuff like that. It is also one of the few cartoons that can actually be bothered to change the outfits of the characters. I miss this show so much and can not find it anywhere on the tinterweb!!!! :'( DAMN THIS WORLD!

1. So as a child my all time favourite cartoon/anime was Sailor Moon. This was a confusing show about a princess from the moon who was put on earth to protect her, so she forgot her princessiness and was all normal until one day she met a talking cat and got these powers and fought alien crime, eventually gaining magic friends to help her. My favourite was Sailor Mars. I tried watching the show again on the tinterweb early last year but eventually had no time for it, but once I get time my days shall be filled with the wonderful world of SAILOR MOON!

So that was my favourite cartoons I watched as a kid, hopefully you know what they are if not I shall just die in a whole thinking what happened to humanity. Blogs about my day should return soon, either way...See you in the 'morrow!

Failure and Disappointment

Ugh today was just Ugh. I had a really good, yet really crappy day. If it wasn't for mocks it would have been brilliant. but sadly no. Mocks fucked everything up! I was all nervous and I had a right to be. I cried a bit when I got them. :/ Some people did worse than me, so it's not all bad, but I'm one of those people who will get upset if I got less than a C. Which I did in all but 1. That was Biology, so proud! But we do not speak of my other grades cause I am disappointed in myself.

Everyone is like they are only mocks, why does it matter? You will improve. Fair enough, but to me being given a bad grade under any circumstances just lowers my self-esteem. This is mainly because I am constantly put down by my sister being a genius. It kind of sucks being the younger sibling. But getting bad grades also leads into the whole fear thing from yesterday where I am scared of people secretly judging me or pitying me. I hate pity. 

That is another reason why today sucked. A lot of my friends got high grades, and in the subject I got my worst grade in. So I felt pretty suckish. Well really suckish. Yeah I am happy for them cause they deserve it, but I feel I deserved something a little better. Why do people pity each other? I hate it. I know I have already mentioned this but that is how much I hate it.  UGH!

Let's just end this here before I lose the will to live. To wrap up, mocks suck and I hate being pitied. There was some good things about today, like failing at drawing 50p's and the demand for cake. Yeah my friends did a good job of distracting me. LOVE YOU!!! If it wasn't for them I probably would just rage quit life.

Fears...

Hi there! Today I went to 6th form and had psychology and not a lot of shit really happened, so yeah. What to blog about? Therefore I decided to write a blog about things I fear cause I am really dreading tomorrow. 

Why am I scared of tomorrow, you might ask. Well we are getting the results to our mock results. And I am very scared for them. I think I did ok but as it is getting closer I am really panicking that I am going to open the envelope and see I have failed them all. I hate failing unless I chose to fail. Cause I just feel completely useless and stuff and it isn't good.

Another thing I get scared of is rejection, which I mention a lot on here. I mainly hate it when people don't like me when they don't even know me, cause they are just making assumptions. That sucks the most. Cause if you don't know who I am how do you know you hate me. It makes no logical sense. If you get to know me and then realise you hate me that is fine, cause you have a completely legit reason.

I also fear public speaking. This is really bad cause I am like they are all secretly judging me and I hate that. So I either shutdown or start laughing. They are forcing us to do presentations in conference for no good reason and I hate it. They say it is for interview practice, well I've had interviews so am comfortable with them, not this. This is a handful of nope.

My other fears are things like spiders, clowns and height, they just scare the bejeebus out of me. But yeah. Sorry about the weird post I just have nothing else to say and the day is running out. So yeah. See you in the 'morrow!

For Just One Yesterday...

Hello! Hello! Hello! That was supposed to represent an echo by the way. Because I got back late last night I had no time to talk about my day. So I'm going to blog about it today. 

My friends and I made a plan to go bowling, and at first everyone was like I can't make it, which made me cry cause I thought they were all going to have sexy fun times without me. But in the end I managed to find 7 other friends to join me in a joyous game. I got the 1:12 bus and met Lish on there, we were texting people to make sure when and how they were getting places. Then we went to the food court and found Siobhan and Scott, we went inside and got in line for Amy to serve us, but we lucked out and moved out of the line and tried again. AND WE STILL DIDN'T GET AMY! But we just ordered anyway and moaned at Aims from another till. 

So we sat in the food court for a bit, and was joined by Giancarlo. Then walked to Riverside. We had some kind of buddy system it was great. Until Scott and Giancarlo started having a lovers tiff. When we got there we met Paige and Emma. It turns out we had to wait 40 minutes for a lane so we just played on some games in the arcade. Then we sat on some chairs and I got molested for stealing a pound coin off Scott. 

ON TO THE BOWLING! I was a complete failure at this. But I didn't come last. It was a good time. I remember: Giancarlo was being a dinosaur and had 60 Thors, Siobhan somehow had about 10 cards for multiple occasions, Paige kept moaning at me for moving in her way, Emma galloping before she threw the ball, Lish actually being good at bowling, Yeah, it was pretty good. 

After this Siobhan parted ways and the rest of us returned to Burger King cause some of us were hungry. This time when we stood in the queue we were asked by someone else (His name was Jordan) if we wanted help, and I was like "No we want Amy" and Aims is what we got. I felt bad cause people kept confusing her with the order, they just kept adding things. SORRY AIMS! So we sat in the food court eating and drinking.

Now it was verging on half 5 and I had to get the bus, but then Em was all like but Aims (she didn't call her Aims though) is now finishing so we waited for her and missed my bus. Luckily we got back in a reasonable time. We had to get a separate bus to the others though. 

Well that was my yesterday, and now I have written the word yesterday I have a Fall Out Boy song in my head. THANKS BRAIN! Anywho... See you in the 'morrow!

A Fun Friday...

Hey guys, let's just cut the bullshit and go straight into the blog about my day.

I woke up about about 9 and watched some TV before going to get the bus. After this I had double media with Jessie where I just made bloopers instead of actually working on coursework. I was also talking to Lish through most of it. It was a pretty funny lesson. Especially when at one point Jessie thought my shoe was a person (like a little mini Armstrong) and we laughed non-stop for like 10 minutes. It was good.

Then is was Lunch and the gang of ragtag awesomeness seemed to have dominated the common room. We spoke about our plans to go bowling tomorrow as well as some other random things. Then Thompson walked in to give an announcement which I had heard for the third(ha rhyme)time. It was about voting for this youth thingymawho and I had previously voted for it so couldn't vote again. But I turned to Kez who was now about to vote and said, what if you just text vote for yourself, would it count? And she wanted to try it but not with Herself. But then Hariette decided to do it with herself as part of her world domination plan. And it worked, so I convinced to others to vote for Hal. I doubt she'd win though, shame.

Lunch was followed by a single lesson of psychology with peeps and practically did nothing, but find out a secret I told one of my friends got shared to another one of my friends. So being slightly mad I shared a secret too. Looking back it was a little bitchy but they weren't massive secrets or anything. And it was to one person who is mutual friends so it is ok. I hope. Walked to the bus after this, had to wait half an hour for a bus. Hal joined and was embarrassing me. UGH! It was not good.

This is known as the alphabet tag, even though I don't see a relevance to the alphabet, I mean you are just replacing numbers with letters why is that so special? Wonderfully Weird Wednesday

Hi, man how many times have I greeted you over the months? So many friggen times. But I feel rude if I don't in some way welcome you to the daily post. Well now you have been welcomed I am obviously going to blog about my very weird day. 

First off I got on the bus and sat with Emma and we were talking about things I can't remember cause it was like 14 hours ago and I pretty much have the memory of a goldfish. But we walked to 6th form and sat around talking to the gradual increase in people. Then I had two hours of Private study where I did some work and then chilled for a bit. This was followed by break where I sat with Jessie witnessing the lack of people because they had all abandoned us for no good reason. So Jessie and I got bored and headed to private study.

Where things got majorly weird. I was greeted by Tom, with a hug. It was the most awkward hug I have ever had. It was like the hug in Harry Potter between Draco and Voldemort. I was just standing there as he hugged me then I patted him once on the back as if to say "ok get off me now". It was just WHY? Apparently it is because he is accepting me into his friend group. I'd be happy with this if he didn't hug me. For the rest of Private Study I was making origami until New Jan was all you have to do something productive. HOW IS ORIGAMI NOT PRODUCTIVE? so I just got out some biology stuff and pretended to revise.  

This was all over and it was Lunchtime where people returned! Some went home cause they could but I sat in the extremely quite common room, with the gang of awesomeness. We played with some Bendy pencils (Which Mads gave me :') ) It was dubbed my penis. Just cause. Then we played with a balloon. Jessie kept pinging it at me so I was like I shall catch this in my mouth and then I failed the first two times (due to her aim) then I caught it and was like Why was no-one filming that?! So we tried filming but I never made the shot again. Sad times. (Sorry Aims for stealing your catchphrase but it fits!) Then pretty much lunch was over.

OFF TO MEDIA! Where pretty much all Jessie and I did was sit there making music sound funny by speeding it up or slowing it down. I know so productive. But it was pretty hilarious. Then I got on the late bus with Claire and we had some fun conversations.

So that was my pretty weird day. Hopefully tomorrow is also weird :D I don't know why I added a random smiley face either. Umm...ok...See you in the 'morrow!

Another Delightful Day At 6th Form...

Howdy! I don't know why I just became a cowboy. But it stays. So today was another delightful day at 6th form. I didn't have to be in until 10:50 today, but I went in a little earlier to print off some work for Quakers, she didn't even look at it :'( I'm not too bothered cause I spent 20 minutes talking to Siobhan, which I rarely get to do cause I rarely see her. It was nice. Then Tom joined us. And it was weird. He was being nice to me, and he is never nice to me. 

Then it was break time and the others arrived and I really don't remember much that happened apart me and Jessie being all adorable. I said I'd be ill for her and we were just pulling adorably weird faces at each other. But this was over and I headed to Biology with Emily where we learnt some stuff. Wow shocker. 

After this was lunch where I spoke to Aims and Momo. Most of the time was spent with Giancarlo mimicking the way I say everything is "So Cute". Then Claire and Lish and Siobhan returned with chips and I had some of Claire's and started eating them seductively. Can't remember much else. So lets just move on to the events of Psychology

In psychology I  was laughing with Claire about when she measured herself ;) I went into dolphin mode.

Then that was all over and Claire and I were on the late bus. We were discussing Bases a lot of the time. what are the bases again? It was pretty funny but a lot of the stuff we spoke about was too dirty for this blog. Sorry :/

In other news Claire and I got engaged. She has a ring that says "Elli's Bitch <3" on it. So yeah. That was my day. See you in the 'morrow!

A Pretty Good Monday

Yeah! I'm blogging about my days again! Unless you all secretly hate that. Meh, deal with it. So today I only had two lessons at 6th form so I got to have a nice lay in. Got to school for break time and sat with the peeps and was given free cake! It was nice but then I remembered it was cause Jan was leaving us and I was all NOPE! But still ate the cake cause come on, it's cake!

After this I went to biology with Emily, and it was pretty good. We did a lot of practical work. At the start we were just messing about with baby oil, water, food colouring and these weird tablety thingies and it was so cool cause in the oil the food colouring would stay in blobs and would wobble around it was really funny. However I now have red food colouring on my thumb. Then we did food tests and when we tested for reducing sugars and Emily and I were the only ones who actually got it to work, so we were just walking around telling everybody we were their superiors. 

So this ended and it was mentor which I spent most of the time talking about Biology and our plans to go bowling on Saturday. This meant I didn't get to spend much time with my actual friends. Sorry about that guys, but in fairness I spent break time with you! Then I went to go get the bus with Emily. Giancarlo walked with us cause he could go home as well. We spoke about bowling and stuff. Then there was this really awkward moment when this guy Jonny walked past cause Giancarlo went, "This is weird, it's like Jonny and his two exes" (cause both Emily and I had been out with Jonny.) But then I laughed saying I thought Giancarlo was going to say 3 and include himself. In fairness Giancarlo and Jonny would have made an adorable couple.

Then I was home and did pretty much fuck all but watch TV and nap. So sorry if this blog was a little shorter than usual. See you in the 'morrow! 

Changes...

Man I need to get a more interesting life, cause it is really affecting my blog posts. So if you may or may not have noticed my blog has had a bit of a change in look, cause the old style was getting well old. Besides, it's a muffin with a moustache and monocle it's pretty damn sexy. Ok I am going to talk about change cause it is really the only logical way to continue.

After reading a blog post of Lish's about feeling comfortable in your own skin is also got me thinking I need to change in that respect. Because I really hate the way I look, but I am too lazy to do anything about it. So I need to either change the laziness and physically do something so I no longer look the way I hate, or I need to start telling myself I look fine and just embrace it. I really need to start making a change in the world of Elli. 

Change like this is good, but most of the time I don't like change. I mean I hate how I rarely see some of my friends anymore because we have moved on in what we are doing with our lives. In some cases I have gotten used to it, but looking back it kind of sucks. I get really worried now thinking that when 6th form is over I am probably eventually going to lose contact with those who move away to go to Uni.

Love Is All You Need

What to blog about today? My days aren't that interesting anymore so I can't write about those. You shall be pleased to hear I can find no more question tags so that is out of the picture, so there isn't really anything left I can do. Therefore I am going to show you this video, which should definitely be watched. It's only about 19 minutes long so don't be all Aargggh about it. 

This is a short film, called love is all you need, about what the world would be like if being straight was the "bad thing" and I personally think it is really powerful. Because it shouldn't matter if you are gay or straight or bi, love is love. They mention how God is the reason behind thinking that being one thing is wrong and it's like, seriously? God is all loving so why should he be against it. Why would he hate on those who love someone of the same sex. Just saying? 
But not only that the important part is the effect bullying has on people. I know it is mainly showing homophobic bullying but if you think about it, the effects are the same for any kinds of bullying. That is what sucks about the world. The fact that we let this kind of hatred for people who can't help the way they are get so far it ends a life. It is disgusting. I don't understand why some people can't be accepted by everyone, I mean I understand that you can't like everyone and they all can't like you but it should be a better reason than, because you are gay, or straight, or fat, or thin, or black, or white, or whatever. 

Wow that was very umm different. Serious Elli is not a fun one, but these things have to be said and shared. Bullying is fucked up and no-one should go through that. So yeah. See you in the 'morrow!

The Job Hunt

Ok, so I'm a teen who wants a social life, therefore I am going to need money. Hence why I need a job. For a while I have been searching but recently I have been reluctant to because I thought trying to juggle work and school would stress me out. But now I really want some money, so the hunt continues!

Thus far in my quest I have only had one interview. So I feel it might have something to do with my CV so I have updated it using tips from the tinterweb, lets hope the tinterweb isn't out to set me up for failure. But I think the interview went ok and they never said why I didn't get it so I am just like..."What did I do wrong?" cause if I don't know I can't improve. But my CV has been updated and my online quest begins a new.

However, I seem to have the same problem all the time. THERE NEVER SEEMS TO BE ANY VACANCIES? Ugh. It is the most frustrating thing ever. I go through loads of different stores and nothing. It really bugs me. The amount of places I have to go through to only end up with nothing is also part of the reason I slightly gave up searching, cause it is just too much hassel for minimum results.

As I had predicted the search did not go so well. I found a vacancy at Build-A-Bear so applied there hoping they will finally accept me. I mean I would get to build bears, I would be living the dream. I also love the puns in their emails about pawsitions and obeartunities. They are so cute! Hopefully they will at least consider me for an interview.

The Magnificent 7- Villains

Yes the magnificent 7 has returned because nothing really happened today. So I was thinking, what is something I like a lot of in order to make a top 7 list, and it hit me. Not literally cause that would have been really weird. I love villains. I don't know what it is about them but I sometimes am drawn to a villain more than I am to the hero. But you have to admit the people in this list are awesome. Remember the list is of villains I find awesome it is not rated by how bad they are.

7. The Joker. Whenever you think of a villain the Joker has to be there. He just has to. Not only is he crazy, he is hilarious. Mainly because he is crazy. I mean just look at that face of insanity it is just brilliant. Lets not forget his awesome catchphrase as well. "Why so serious?" it's perfect, now I am reminded of a song by paint. Despite this there are more Villains I prefer.

6. Next in the list would have the be He Who Shall Not Be Named. But I'm not afraid so I shall name him. It's Voldemort. Pretty much like everyone in this list I find him funny, but this is more of an awkward funny. Like when he tries to give Draco a hug. Voldemort also provides me with my favourite line from all of the Harry Potter films. "I can touch you now" all because it is completely inappropriate and it is followed by a bunch of awkward noises from both him and Harry. If you don't believe me go watch it yourself. 

5. Now we move on to the only female in the list. Ursula from The Little Mermaid. She just amuses me so much. My favourite thing is probably her song though. I love it. Cause she sounds like such a bitch. It also reminds me a little of well me. There isn't a lot I can say about Ursula I just know I love her as a Villain. So hence why she is at number 5.

4. In this instance I prefer the Villain to the hero, I mean what it so great about Thor when there is Loki. Oh my god Loki is just so awesome. I don't see why people prefer Thor to Loki. Seriously in The Avengers when he caught that arrow I was like uuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh. Even though it blew up in his face. That alone is why he is in this list.

3. Christopher Pelant from Bones has to be in the list. His supreme knowledge on
stuff and how he uses it to murder people and cause chaos is just amazing. He is also that perfect piece of crazy. He got shot in the face and stitched it up himself. I admit it was a little bit EWW NO DON'T DO THAT. But the fact that he did made it kind of awesome in terms of crazy. His death was too easy for his brilliance. Hence why I believe he isn't really dead.

2. Now Him has been one of my favourites since childhood. If you are not aware of who Him is he was in The Powerpuff Girls, and was awesome. Not only because he was this lobster creature who had a feather boa and wore hooker boots, he was just insanely funny and creepy all at the same time. "Wait Wait Come Back I'll Make My FlapJacks Cheaper!" Pure genius. 




1. If you have not guessed this, you my friend need to get your brain
checked. Of course Moriarty is my favourite Villain. I mean come on, he has everything. Looks, craziness, campness and an Irish accent. Moriarty as portrayed in BBC Sherlock. Obviously. Just has it all. I mean only a legend can shoot himself in the head and live. I was so happy AAKK. I'm going to stop talking about Moriarty if not I am going to start complaining about how I have to wait to see him again. However I have DVD's and a T-shirt with his face on it so really I can see him whenever I want. 

Well that was my top 7 villains, maybe I should do heros next. It's only logical. Well I guess there is nothing more to say than, see you in the 'morrow!
