My Hair Dye Adventure

I am very sorry. My final promise has been broken. So unfortunately you will not view 50 things in my bedroom this week, but we shall see what the future holds! For now I will talk about hair dye. Why? because today I dyed my hair.

You can't see it very well because the lighting isn't that great, but the colour has turned from a light brown/red to a very dark purple/red. Red is still a common theme. As per usual my hair does not turn out the same way the box said it should, but I'm not too bothered, cause it usually fades into a nice colour in a week or two. But for now I have this dark hair, which my take me a day or two to get used to, and random purple blotches on my forehead which look a little like bruises. 

As that alone doesn't make a good enough post for my liking I shall show you some pics of my hair throughout the years, and the colours it has been. So yeah...Let's cringe at these photos together. 

Let's start with baby me, where I had this very dark hair.

Then randomly around the age of two my hair became this kind of very light brown.

Then it settled for being a kind of medium brown,

 and stayed this way up until October 2008.

The beginning of the blonde streaks (very subtle at first) 

Then it became a bit more pizazzy (I actually like this photo)

Then I got fed up with being blonde and dyed my hair brown.

I kept dying it darker browns each time, and it almost looks black.

And now we reach my dark red phase. This varied from time to time for a year.

 

It looked best when it was faded.

Then I went for the dark pinkish look,

Which faded into this. 

And then ended up to how it was before I dyed it today. 

So I hope you enjoyed those "beautiful" pictures of me, and enjoyed the beautifulness of my hair over the 17 years of my life. maybe I can come back in another 17 years to show you how my hair changes over time. Until then...

Sims 4 Custom Content

As promised I am blogging about the wonders I have found thanks to some genius people! Now on the Sims 4 CAS Demo you can include some extra features when you download them into your mod folder. These are what I have so far and I tried them all out on my sim:

Unfortunately I could not attach the two things I wanted most which was a batman vest and a Jake Adventure Time jumper. I think the problem is they are RAR files when the rest are package, but oh well, you can't get them all I guess. 

Currently I am not having luck with the make your own custom content it just wont save things right so I cannot open them to edit and it's literally a pain in the ass that I don't want to deal with anymore. So I guess I will just have to wait for a very talented person to make me a check shirt. 

I can't find the links I used to the downloadable content and can't remember much detail about them, but if you go on youtube and tumblr there are sure to be links and things that you can fins yourself. There is one link I have to another blog which has lists of things you can download and use on your very own sims.  CLICK HERE!

It is a shame I cannot show you more, but I can only really show you what I have. Sorry but maybe if i get more or things work out better I can make more posts and share. Until then I will return with other weird things.

"Little" Diary Entries

Hello! So as promised in my post from Friday, I am going to dedicate this post to what I did over the past 4 days, but I will write them on the day they happened so the way I talk about them might be a little confusing. But just think of them like tiny entries to a diary. Well let's just get on with it then

Friday: Today I was awoken at 9:00am after having around 6 hours sleep, so was not happy, as I like me some sleep. But my mum had got a plumber round to fix our bath's draining, which I was happy about because it means I can dye my hair soon. YAY! But anywho I had to make sure the house looked presentable, I will admit we are not the tidiest of people. So once that was done I grabbed a bite to eat, made sure my pre-written post was posted, and got ready to go meet up with my friends. 
The Plumber arrived before I left and he tried to make small talk with me, please don't do that. I am not a small talk person. But I tried to be polite before I bolted out the door and got on the bus. The bus ride was pretty lonely, and then as I was almost at my destination, I noticed Lish, Claire and Siobhan walking and they looked at the bus (not sure they noticed it though) and I waved like a maniac but got no waves in return :'( 
So off the bus I was with those four and we were just chatting and waiting the others to arrive, Then  the rain was like hey and we were like well the others know how to get there, lets just make our way over to the park. So we walked and had weird conversations about Lish not wearing underwear, and me being special, and had a weird phone conversation with Giancarlo about butts. 
At the park we found a little spot under a roof to keep out the rain and waited for Momes, Jessie and Eddie. They arrived and Jessie was dressed up as a banana, I was given a sippy cup, we all ate food and drank drinks and then played this half an hour game of Uno, which Lish won. well done Lishill! After this we relocated and then four of us made a big mistake by going in the water feature with no spare clothes. It was alright when the sun was out but then it got cold. Ugh.
Lish, Siobhan and Claire parted ways then, and the rest of us went to a different park and were chilling, then Momo went to work so Eddie, Jessie, and I played on the turtle swing. Finally I had to leave.

Saturday: I slept for hours. I woke up today in the afternoon, cause why not? It's a Saturday! I went and had lunch cause there was no point to breakfast, and then watched some Saved by the Bell. After this I decided to work on the Sims 4 Stuff that I promised and it went ok. Can't say a lot if not it will ruin the blog post about that. Following this I had some chips with the family, and we settled to watch the new episode of Doctor Who. I was very disappointed. The show has really weakened, and I am considering to stop watching it. My dad fell asleep, my mum just had nothing to say, Hal wouldn't stop complaining, and I practically gave up and played my little pony, which I continued to do for the rest of the night. 

Sunday: I woke up at a reasonable 10am. Then played my little pony. Literally that has been most of my day, besides eating lunch, watching a bit of tv and joining this weird fantasy football league with my friends (I will probably post on that some point soon). I followed this up by doing some video editing, and making some blog post drafts, so that I can have a more relaxed week, not that all my other weeks haven't been relaxed.  Then I ate a bit more food and watched some youtubes. 

Monday: I don't want to talk about today. Today fucking sucked.

Wow I said little and friday could be a whole post of it's own.

Future Blog Content!

Hello! I only just realised that tomorrow (well for you guys today) I have a busy day ahead and will have no time to blog. Originally I thought it would be fine and I can post about my day, but then I realised wait I will not be home until midnight so I will not find the time to do this. So I have to do something else really. But what? ARG COMPLICATED LIFE! 

I guess I will just talk about random nonsense about the future, and upcoming blogs and stuff, cause why not? Lets give you things to look forward to instead of just giving you it. Maybe also promising these things might mean I will actually provide them in the future. So here are some of my ideas for blog content for the next week or so:

Copy Maddy's Idea for 60 things in my room tag- The other day I thought about this a lot and even made a list of things in my room I can include. However no matter how hard I tried I cannot come up with 60 things so you may have to settle for 50. Obviously you will not get this until I actually film the thing, so that alone may take time cause I'll have to film, edit and upload. 

Sims 4 Custom Content- So today on the tinterwebs, I found some really cool custom content that you can download for your own S4CAS. So I downloaded a few things and am going to try them out and show them to you wonderful people. I also found this modlet where you can kind of create your own style, and saw a video where this guy created a super cute TFIOS tank top, and I thought THIS IS MY CHANCE TO GET A CHECKED SHIRT! So this weekend I am probably going to have a play with that and some point next week show you images of my pieces. Unless they completely fail. 

What I did today- Like I said today is a busy day so I will probably have some things to tell you, but obviously cannot tell you today. And since I don't blog on the weekends, you will have to wait until Monday. And that is my only definite date set. On Monday I will probably write about what I did over the weekend as well as what I did on Friday and maybe even what I did on Monday so that it makes a little more sense. 

So far that is all I really have planned.  Now I feel stressed cause I have to try and complete all these. AAAG! Let's hope I can do this. Anywho I hope that has fulfilled your weirdness need for now.

Saved By The Bell

"When I wake up in the morning and the 'larm gives out a warning. I don't think I'll ever make it on time. By the time I grab my books and I give myself a look. I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by. It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell."

I hope you enjoyed that. I sure did. I was really tempted to continue with the whole theme song to the amazing show from the 90s. Why am I singing (yes I actually sang it) this wonderful theme tune and talking about a show which began 7 years before my actual birth. Well because when i was growing up this show used to be repeated on Nickelodeon and I would watch every single one with my sister, and it was great. 

Then recently I saw a Teens React video for this show and 1. I got very upset that they all said they had never heard of it and 2. it made me want to watch the entire thing again. So I went on a hunt on le tinterwebs, and came across a website where I can watch it all for free! I was a very happy bunny. I am already in the middle of season 3! Ugh and it is just as good as I remember.

But the question still stands of why I am telling you this. Well it has nothing to do with the fact I have no other blog post planned, not one bit. 

Sorry. But this is different to what you usually get from me, so just enjoy the ride.

Sims 4 CAS Demo

So a while ago I downloaded the create a sim demo and gave it a go and got frustrated that I couldn't make myself look like myself. But today I tried again, and put a little more effort into the whole thing but trying to get the details right. I think it has reached a point where it is the closest it will get. 

(Sorry about some of the image quality I had to take pictures on my phone as my computer was being a dick about print screening them).

Does it look anything like me??? Looking at it now I feel it looks nothing like me, but when I made it I thought it was pretty good. 

So the other part of the sims 4 demo was that we got to give ourselves clothes. WHICH I HATED! Why? Because I need me some checked shirts. But girls don't have any. UGH! I even found a really nice checked shirt in the guys clothing, which I would so totally wear, so why can't they just make one of them for girls, is that really so difficult??? 

But anywho... I tried dressing me sim even though I felt none of the outfits really screamed "ME!" but I settled for either things I liked or that were similar to what I would go for. 

This is my everyday wear:
I decided to go for an off the shoulder jumper, jeans and converse, as I wear converse a lot, jeans are primarily my life and I do occasionally wear jumpers. I even have this one that just randomly shows off my shoulder so I thought this was appropriate.

This is my formal wear:

I went for a cardigan and skirt with tights and little pumps, cause the bottom half is what I wear to job interviews. The cardigan was originally black, but then I felt the look was too dark and needed something so I chose the weird kind of check style with blue (cause I love blue) Just to add a little colour. I also gave myself a necklace, cause what the heck it's formal wear, and I do love a good necklace, but honestly I wouldn't wear one like that. 

This is my athletic wear:

Which was most fun as I never really exercise, so I decided to go more for something I thought made my sim look fun and cute rather than something I would actually wear. I would never wear shorts, but I love the short shorts and high socks combo. I would wear the t-shirt though, and I just gave me random matching trainers.

This is my sleepwear:

I actually do wear something very similar to this when I go to sleep so I thought it was perfect. Just a simple vest and cute shorts. Now I don't usually wear slippers, but the bunny slippers are so friggen adorable I could not resist. 

And finally this is my party wear:

For this I decided to go for a dress, for  actually wear dresses, and some docs for they had not entered the scene and I love docs. I chose this dress as I actually own one that is very similar so I thought I would go for a more realistic look, whereas with others I would just go with what looked pretty. I still don't see the point in party wear. Why can't that just be formal wear?

So that is my sim 4 creation! I admit it isn't completely me, but I am hoping that since this is just a demo there can be more in create a sim, such as hair colours, and definitely clothes. Sidenote: who else loves how my sim pulled really derp faces as I was taking some of the pics? I for sure did, at least she has my personality. 

My sims traits: Romantic, Cheerful, and Clumsy. Wish: To have a successful family.

How To Make: Loombands (Fishtail)

As you have guessed from the title, I am going to show you how to make yet more loombands. This time it is the fishtail, which looks like thus, and I will show the two different methods to make them. 

You will need:
A loomband board
A crochet hook
An S clip
and a fuck load of loombands. 

Ok so method 1 is where you will not need the loomband board as you can just make it on your fingers. However it is more uncomfortable as the bands can be a bit tight. Anywho let's get cracking: 

(By the way I apologise for the picture quality in some images, I could only check after I finshed the loomband and really did not want to undo all my work just to retake images. Sorry :/ )

Step 1: Make a figure 8 with the loomband and hook it on your fingers.

Step 2: Normally place the next two loombands on.

Step 3: Unhook the bottom band...

Step 4:...To look like thus.

Step 5: Unhook the other side to look like this.

Step 6: Place the next band on.

Step 7: Next you unhook the bottom bands like you did in step 4 and 5

Step 8: you continue with this pattern
 (remembering to keep only 3 bands at a time) 

Step 9: Take of the band and remove the last two bands
 (the two left on your fingers in step 8)

Step 10: Add the S clip to both sides.

Step 11: Wear and look cool.

So that is the method without the loomboard, so I guess now I must show you the one with. 

Step 1: Make a figure eight and place on two pegs of the board.

Step 2: Add the next two bands normally onto the board.

Step 3: Unhook the bottom band.

Step 4: Add the next band to the pegs.

Step 5: Unhook the bottom band like in Step 3.

Step 6: Continue with this pattern until it is the size you wish.

Step 7: In order for it to work you need to get the yellow one to be hooked over.
So you repeat the pattern twice more
 (I used red ones to show the extras)

Step 8: Remove the two extra bands (the red ones)
 after unhooking from the board.

Step 9: Add the S Clip to both ends.

Step 10: Wear to look super kawaii.

And now you know how to make a fishtail loomband.
