The Best Weather

It's randomness time! And today let's talk about the weather. Because we are going to do elevator small talk. Which I hate. But anyway. I am going to talk about my favourite weather today, because I saw it a couple of weeks ago, caught a few snaps and thought it is just beautiful. 

So my favourite kind of weather is when the sun is really low, low enough to kind of stalk behind buildings like heeeey. And when you take a photo you get those really pretty lens flares of the sun streaks bursting between the buildings. When the sun is this low you are able to see the really shallow type of rain, and it just looks really pretty. Also I love it when you are out after it has been heavily raining and the sun comes out, because the air goes all warm and there are puddles that cutely reflect the sun, and everything just seems so calm. 

And then, the magic happens. A rainbow appears. I took pictures of this too, because they are just so pretty, but unfortunately the camera on my phone, cannot capture the same beauty I see with my eyes. This was a really vibrant rainbow and I loved it, there was also a slight double rainbow which you can see in one of the images, and then in real life there was a hint of a third, but it was too faint to capture. But anywho rainbows are awesome. 

On the topics of rainbows I feel this is the perfect opportunity to rant about something that annoys me more than it probably should. it is when things are not in rainbow order. Now don't get me wrong I do like a bit of chaos and mismatch when it comes to using the colours of the rainbow, but it is when they are clearly trying to put it in some kind of order and they get it wrong. Like it's red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink then back to red. Think of colour wheels so it completes the circle. if you have colours missing you can still put it in an order. So for example you have red yellow green and purple, you can use it in that order, maybe move the purple in front  of the red to make it more aesthetically pleasing, because in my opinion placing purple next to green doesn't always look that great, but it still fits with the circle. 

How can people get this order wrong though? Like seriously it is called rainbow order, because of the rainbow, which isn't made up, it's a thing, that shows you the order it is meant to be. Like ugh! And when something is not in this order I have a little freak out and have to sort it out, which my friends love just moving one colour to fuck me off. >.< But like I said you can have mismatch and disorder to the use of the rainbow, because they do look nice, it is just when they tried for a bit and seemed to have given up some point in the middles. Like I once had a purse with rainbow hearts on it, and it was in order apart from blue and green were switched round. I still can't get over this. 

That is enough ranting, since this was clearly meant  to be about the weather. Oh well.

Lateness, Pointlessness and More!

If you know my schedule you should know what this is about. So let's skip the intro(yet I am writing an intro technically) and get to business.

Wednesday 8th: First I had biology, where we were learning about blood glucose levels and what the body can do to restore it to normal and what happens if it gets to low or too high. I have to remember that for tomorrow (Wednesday 15th real time) and I'm not entirely confident. Oh well. Then I had a joyous hour of private study where I colour coded the thing I had to learn. Then it was pointless conference where there was no ICT room booked, and then we got told off for whispering even though there were people full on chatting. Like really? Then lunch where we were talking about the possibility of everyone in the group living together, Hasn't been mentioned since, just saying. Then we left for media, but our teacher was ill, and the internet was down so we couldn't get any work done, so I sat with Jess and helped her with her graphics work. Then  went home.

Thursday 9th: I woke up feeling like shit basically, and I had an interview in the afternoon (which I mentioned last week) so I thought getting some more rest and taking it easy would be better for me so that I could then feel better for my interview. Which was true ish. So I did some work at home and had a little chill then prepared for my interview. Build-A-Bear round 2. This was slightly different as we had to create our own advertisement for the store, which led me to hold one of the girls hands. Then we were asked questions which I felt were unfair as I could answer all the ones the others got, but not the one I had. then we did some bear dressing, and then we left after she promised to contact us either way, in the next few days. Still haven't been contacted. Little bit of a pisstake but they are probably busy, even though I called them to explain and it was no help whatsoever, "you should have been sent an email, check your spam folder, bye" *checks spam folder* nothing there >.<
Friday 10th: I woke up felt a little bit better, but had this really odd pain in my back (which is still here, might have to see a doctor) and went to go get a bus to brave school but the 7:30 one did not show up, and the 8:00 was running late so I was like fuck this and went home, because standing there was making me feel like shit again. So I did some more work at home, and chilled once more.

Saturday 11th: Watched some TV, played some sims, watched some youtube, However, on this day I got terrified of the thunder storm, and pretty much screamed every time I saw lightning. Then the sound of the hail freaked me the fuck out. 

Sunday 12th: Again the plan was to go see my nanny in Hemsby, but my dad was all like, I don't really feel like going, ugh. I WANT TO SEE ME GRANDMAMMA. So I had another chill day, but I did some work as well. 

Monday 13th: I got ready for school, and went to the bus stop, in the rain, waited for the bus,  in the rain, it didn't turn up, in the rain, talked to my new friend Harvey, in the rain, the next bus didn't show up, in the rain,phoned Ali, in the rain, gave up with going to school. Went home put on a onesie,played sims. Did some work. 

Tuesday 14th: Had a lay in, went to get the bus, it was late AGAIN! Finally got on the bus, spoke to Emily about bus lateness, job interviews, and driving. Got to school and saw peeps, went to private study and helped Giancarlo draw, whilst doing some psychology work. Then I had mentor (because I was meant to have it on Friday) talked about personal statements, and complained about psychology. Then it was lunch where I wasn't feeling too great. Then it was double psychology, where 4 people were missing from our class, and we watched this video which the guys weren't to happy about as it didn't put them in such a good light. and then we had to describe our perfect male/female, and the guys had to leave the room. Then I went home on the late bus talking to Harvey about christmas and how annoying it is.

Future Worries

I'm worried about my future. Mainly because I don't think I am ever going to get a job. I try so hard, and I always get rejected. :/ I really need a job as well. because I would like to move out by the end of 6th form, I just feel it would make things easier. But in order to do that I need money, from a job, which I can't get. 

I also think I am not going to do well in my A-levels so I am going to get nothing from that, plus I haven't applied to ucas so the school will bitch and moan because I have no plan. Well I do have a plan. I want a job. But a job I can't get. So I'm all ahbase2WQUOIAZJSX because I am scared that I am going to leave 6th form and probably just going to have to become homeless. 

I know this is kind of a short thought, but some thoughts don't go on forever, and plus me getting pretty sleepy, so yeah.

Sims 4 First Impressions.

Now, I know the sims 4 has been out for over a month now, but I only got it this week. Besides I need something to talk about in this new gaming section. So I shall mention my first thoughts.

To begin with, I did actually play a bit on the sims the first day of UK release with Maddy, but because there was two of us I didn't really get a feel for the game, but I did rather enjoy it. We made a character called Dylan and dressed her up, built her a cute little house, mainly using styled rooms, and then we pulled her down a friend (Pewdiepie no less) from the Gallery, I like this feature, because now I can become friends with my favourite youtubers. Anywho so we had a look at some of the emotions but I didn't see enough of the game.

And to be honest, I still completely haven't. When I loaded up the game I decided to make another random character, so I could just look at the ins and outs of the game so I knew how things worked for when I played as myself. Her name was Aj, and then after getting bored of playing with just her I decided to get her a boyfriend, so pulled down Pewds again, because who wouldn't want to be in a relationship with Pewds. However they didn't really get along enough to flirt, so I kept them as just friends. But I wish sometimes you can just flirt and nothing bad would happen, because some people are pretty outrageous. Like me!

After this I decided to experience death, but couldn't face killing Aj who I spent half an hour making, or pewds, because he is youtube god. So I pulled down a random character, who then I tried to kill by embarrassing her, but it failed, so I watched her starve to death in an empty room, once she died Aj tried to make friends with the Grim Reaper which I found pretty amusing. 

Then I stopped playing for a day or two (damn school) then I continued with Aj for some more experiments, and this time made her a lover called Shane (after a character from one of my favourite books) and in one day for me, and I think 3 sim days, they got married! It was a pretty quick process, and the slow decrease of needs helped with that, but sometimes to emotions were a little temperamental. It was rather tricky to get them to flirt. 

So overall I am rather enjoying the sims, I like the inclusion of styled rooms to make building easier, and I like the emotions to an extent. And I am happy that ghosts and pools are returning (well ghosts already have). But I would like more of a variety of checked shirts! They are all I wear. Please. And a few more variety of hairstyles, for males, and a couple more females. 

Finally, I assume this is my computers problem, but I find that when I click on a sim to make an action, the options come up a bit slowly, little annoyed about that. Also I am not a big fan of the multiple loading screens in game when traveling places. However I do not miss the tonnes of loading I had to endure for sims 3.

Sims 4 is a great game, and you should all play it. Simply my opinion. Go play it now.

Tweets! Tweets Everywhere!

So the other week, my friends and I were talking about twitter and I finally tweeted after about 4 months, so I thought hey, this would be a good chance to look back on past tweets and talk about them, if I remember them of course.  I think some might already be on this blog from my whole 2013 things but whatever let's just share them again. There are a lot of tweets so this will more than likely become a small series. Here Goes:

I think she tweeted about this so I tweeted her back. Because the little mermaid is the greatest Disney film. However hate how I spelled love there.

Ugh some more terrible grammar. I tweeted this guy off big brother, as you can guess from the next tweet, he was talking about dressing up as the baby Jesus or something and I thought this was a good thing for him to do. 
Did not blog a month after this.

Basically, Hal was going to go to Noel Fielding gig, and because dad paid for it he was also going to give me a bit of money, but the gig got cancelled so I had nothing and felt like complaining to the man himself. 

Wow I am obsessed with tweeting celebs. Why am I talking about sky plus??

Pretty self explanatory, a very inspirational message there.

I do not remember this day at all, but apparently it was fun.

 Well this is clearly the day after I went to go see HOP with my friends, all I remember is sitting at the back of the cinema dancing every time there was some music.

 I assume my mother said something about banks and such, so I made a joke about how banks come in the form of your parents.

 We have this sandwich cutter, that makes them into dinosaurs. I need to find this and make me a sammich!

Basically Hal, Giancarlo and I decided to go watch the Winnie the Pooh movie on the day of the royal wedding, however Giancarlo wasn't there at the right time and he went to go see Rio instead. There weren't very many people in the cinema, just me Hal, this man and his two kids. At least, I hope they were his kids...

 I am ever so slightly obsessed with orange juice. However (Warning Cringe Moment) this tweet is now untrue.

 Just a little self promotion of my old youtube channel. 

 Ah Waterloo Road, the show that loves fire.

 Yes, Momo's Birthday, he invited Jessie and I over for a meal, but it had meat in it so I couldn't eat it, and I wasn't a fan of the veggie option, so I just sat there eating sultanas. Then the cake smushing started. 

I strangely remember the coconut part. Someone brought in a coconut and the everyone tried breaking it, and when that was over I was approaching strangers asking them id they wanted a bit. I don't remember the moustache though :/

And Finally, the tweet that seems pretty self explanatory. Even though I do not remember any of it.

I'm sorry but football is here....

Alright Lads!
Now, To all the non-footballing folk here, the following post will be relatively boring, but I would like to make some comments about the football season! I'm going to cover 5 points:

1. Chelsea : Of course! I had to mention my beloved football team, but before anyone thinks anything, No I don't love them more than Elli, she is the best part of my world, and football is up there too, but Elli is higher.
 I honestly think we have balance this year, we have a good set of forwards, one of if not the best midfields in the league, and of course we're going to be defensively solid, so I have a really positive feeling about us all round. That being said, if we have an injury to Costa or Matic, then we could derail. I know Matic seems like an odd pick given Fabregas' impact, but the reality is he brings solidity to our side which we had lacked. He reminds me of a Slavic Makelele, he's very strong defensively but does have a bigger build, so he's far from the same player, but there's a calm and controlled manner about his movement and his play which completes our midfield. And as for Costa, I think that's been documented enough by many a pundit, so there's not much left to say. 

As for our other newcomers, Courtois' first season at Stamford Bridge will be a big one, and as much as Petr Cech is a hero to us all, Courtois is our future, and we have to retain him. Fabregas will be crucial to our creativity, but I feel that Matic again is involved in his success as when Matic is there, he sits back and allows Fabregas to focus on going forward. Zouma will be a brilliant signing, but he needs time to bed in, and he can replace Terry in the next few seasons, he's got some potential, so we'll see how he pans out, but I'd like to see him get some gametime this term.

I think we have to be considered title favourites, providing we don't burn out around christmas, we can do it, let's just wait and see.

2. Manchester United : Because a certain fan of this blog, not saying any names (LISH), I feel as though I ought to comment on them, but before I do, I should vent something...

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Okay that's better. 

In seriousness, United fans definitely need to be patient, there's no way they can compete for the league this year. Sure, they lack European football which could give them an edge, but they also lack a solid defence, so they could try and go all "Liverpool" on the league, but they are too reliant on outscoring opposition when they have an ageing strike force, Van Persie doesn't fit anymore now Falcao is in the side, and they should sell him off and promote James Wilson, who played magnificently at the end of last year. The money from RvP can be used to buy a couple of defenders too. Patience is a virtue guys, but so is being able to buy players in the positions you need, not just buying people for the sake of it.

3. Adam Lallana : ah yes, my favourite premier league player who doesn't wear a Chelsea shirt, but in my opinion should. Rumour had it that we were slightly interested but Liverpool jumped on him and splashed £25 million. I feel he would be great in a chelsea shirt, He's English, skilful, can unlock defenses with ease, maybe lacking pace, but a great player to play just behind Costa because he wouldn't need as much pace in a position to dictate the game rather than burst through the centre halves when we know Costa is the sort of player to make a good run. Because if Oscar burns out like he did last season then we'll be screwed, and Lallana would be a brilliant back up for us. However I agree that for £25 million, he wouldn't be worth it, but he's definitely one to watch this season, he'll get some good goals and some great assists, and should be an integral part of the England "Renaissance" which is happening.
 
4. Who's going down? : always a tough question, but the one side I see struggling will be QPR. There's just no passion behind them and they have no real ability. Austin is a top forward but he needs good service which they lack in a midfield where Taarabt and Kranjcar are the best players, Sandro ought to be playing much better too. Reminds me of when Norwich had Van Wolfswinkel and everyone slaughtered him for not scoring, but he had half chances at best and there was no real service to him. So he is really unlucky and probably should've stayed at Burnley. 
 Speaking of the Clarets, I love their commitment  and sheer love of the game, but they could go down, and it would be a sad story, but the truth is they need to start getting points. With a goal against us, they showed they are no pushovers, but based on recent results Burnley need to buck up their ideas.
Lastly, West Brom. Again, I like them, but they lack going forwards and Jonas Olsson does little to convince me at the best of times. If they were to survive, they'd need a big season from Ideye, Berahino, Yacob and Foster. But the sad reality is that they lack goals from open play and rely on Berahino too much, but credit to the lad, he's been fantastic to watch and he has a bright future, so let's hope he keeps his head down and doesn't lose focus. But it will take a massive effort to save them, unless they get a bit of luck and improve their scoring record.

5. Who's going up? : The championship is a great league to watch as a neutral (well, a neutral with a soft spot for Derby and Norwich), and it's going to be close as per usual, but I have to say Derby have grown so much in recent years, and it's why I am fond of them, they have had great players for awhile but are only just using them. Derby and Norwich will be there or thereabouts this year, because they are strong all round, Nottingham Forest can't be ignored, they would have been up there last year if they stayed injury free. Middlesbrough have the squad to do well but I doubt they have the consistency. Ipswich under McCarthy have been a good side to watch too (He says hiding from everyone in Norwich) and could do well too, but my last two considerations would be Blackburn and Bournemouth. My outside bets would be Sheffield Wednesday (A weird choice, but May is a good forward and this year they have a real togetherness which will do them well) and Watford, but the Hornets will do way better if they can get a permanent manager in and get some consistency. It's hard to predict the Championship, but it will be great to watch and it's great to see good English talent being pushed through a tough league. So it's going to be quality!

Catch-Up Tuesday

Hello! So continuing with my schedule it is catch-up Tuesday, where I just say what I have been up to, let's go!

Saturday: Another long suffering day without my Sims 4 game. HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT!? So instead I applied for some jobs, realised I couldn't book an interview because the website had crashed, and then played sims for a bit. Then I proceeded to watch Kpopp on youtube for hours. 

Sunday: The plan was to go to Hemsby to see my Nanny and get some chippychips. But unfortunately something had come up, and mum got some bad news, so I shall be staying in, on this rather beautiful day. I started by blogging. Then did some biology work, played sims and watched youtube. 

Monday: An Amazing Day! It was my scheduled day off school,and I was watching some tv when I received some mail. Guess what it was. I shall give you a moment...............IT WAS SIMS 4!!!!!!! Literally from that moment I played sims (after waiting like 40 minutes for it to install) then I decided it was probably time I ate some food,so I did that,did some psychology work, and watched youtube before falling asleep. 

Tuesday: Back to 6th form for me. Yay. At least I got a small lay in.  First up was le private study with Aims, where we did our work, discussed the invading privacy of my psychology homework and then I discussed neurons with her, which lead to Milo from the tweenies and then we just discussed  the tweenies in depth. So normal :P Then it was the day of arts and crafts, where I made a marble run in biology and played with play-doh in psychology. Oh the things we do at A-level. I also had various people sit on me today, and discussions of me being a lesbian. Oh and lets not forget the late bus journey with Aims and Andrew where we talked about jobs and maths and Latin. Oh Late Bus Times:)

Losing My Tubing Virginity

If you read my post on Friday, you would have saw me mention how I went tubing on Wednesday, too much happened on this day for me to include it in that post so I dedicated Elli's thoughts to it. Cause it can be my thoughts on the time out, as well as what I think of tubing, yeah!. So this is my run through of the day:

I was picked up by Emma and we went to get Amy and we had a mini road trip, singing songs and me getting scared, and just general chatter as we traveled to this place to do tubing. So we got there and saw  Lish, Momo and Connor and we waited behind a bush for a failed attempt at scaring Emily, Kez, Siobhan and Maddy. So then we went Tubing and I was the only one who got to wear an adorable pink helmet. 

So we head out there and I am getting increasingly more scared, because I don't do heights. So I was following Connor on this travelator thing, wow this makes me sound like a stalker, and was like: Nope, nope. Nope. NOPE! Then we got to the middle (yep it got higher!) and I was pushed down a slope in a rubber ring thing, which I named Susan. The whole way down I was saying "Help me" increasing tempo the closer I got to the end, and when I reached the end I rather enjoyed it, but was still scared for more. 

We went down the slopes in a variety of ways. The scariest, was when he spun me more and I almost fell out of the thing, and we went in pairs, 5's and group circles. Everytime I was like nope.  The group circle ones were fun as we all smushed together at one point, and then when we joined this other party of people, I felt like we were speed dating. However I did trip the safety on the travelator once. Oops! 

There was also a lot of banter going on, Emma telling Gian he had a big tube, Giancarlo telling me to shake my groove thang, Maddy and I flirting because I had my legs wrapped around her, the guy ruining my cas' as I tried to do the run and jump but failed so I shouted at him. Me owning the guy as he tried to say circles don't have middles and I was like "actually they do it's called the area".

After all this we went up to a bar and sat around, chatting, eating cake, drinking coke, and taking pictures.  Then we went home, so it was another party car moment with Ems and Aims having some down time before we listened to Barbie Girl. COME ON AMY LET'S GO PARTY! It was a great night and I would want to do it again, but it looks pretty expensive. Thanks Emily for the night. I do suggest if you have the money you should go with a group of friends, because it is good bonding time. Almost wrote bondage time. Awkward. I miss Susan...Wow why did bondage remind me of Susan? Umm... I should go before I lose it. I've already lost it haven't I? Oh Well...

The Good Stuff?

Hi! So in this post we are going to have a little catch up on my life over the past 3 days. Let's just get on to the good stuff.

Wednesday: The longest day, however it was pretty good. I woke up at like 5:30 for some reason so decided to watch some youtubes and then get ready for school. I got there and was all alone for ages, until Maddy and Stead turned up, followed by other people, and then I had to go to double biology where we spoke about being pregnant, funerals, and reflexes. Pretty fun. Then I went to break where I was given these adorable gloves from Jassie, and spoke to peeps, and then made my way to private study. Where I made a timetable and wrote my personal statement, and then it was conference. YAY! This week's pointlessness. Choose a political topic, make a presentation. I am working with Siobhan and Jass, and our topic is: Should the voting age be reduced to 16? We found a page on the internet where a woman said it should because 16 year olds are inferior as they have lived shorter lives which is their fault. No it's not! It's their parents fault for not banging sooner. Then it was lunchtime and people were being anti-social. Then Jass and I went to media where we filmed our fake cooking show, and she kept saying cock instead of cost, and I got flour all over me, but then we got cupcakes and i gave one to Amy on our late bus journey. However I wasn't home long for like 2 hours later I went tubing! Then I came home and slept.

Thursday: Today the school is having an open day for those that will become the new year 7's so the school was closing after period four, meaning I only had to be in for period four. And that was private study. But it's ok because on Wednesday, I spoke to Ali and she allowed me to take the day off, which I spent at home completing my biology work, watching youtubes, and waiting for sims 4. WHY ISN'T IT HERE YET! So then I just played the sims 3, did my media work and went to sleeps. 

Friday: Earliness, loneliness, sleepiness. The Morning. So lets just skip to double media, where we learnt about chloroplasts. Fun fact: Plants look green, because chlorophyll absorbs all colours but green and yellow, these are reflected, which makes the plant look green. I made a model chloroplast and we didn't have to hand in our homework, which I spent all of yesterday doing. Ugh, then it was break which I don't remember, followed by double media where we were given cake, edited our videos which was just so funny, and then it was lunch which was super quiet, so I went home. Where there is still no Sims 4. I shall cry for a lifetime. But I played on Sims 3. Watched youtubes, blogs and I assume I will watch more youtubes and go to sleep following this.

The Count Down Tag

So today I am going to be pretty busy so I have pre-prepared this post, and guess what it is. Elli the title gives it away. SSH don't ruin it! Yep I am doing a tag. Why did your parents give you the name you have? I think it is to do with the song from the Turtles. Elenore Gee I think our swell. However my name isn't spelled like that, just pronounced that way.
